Event description:
Join us for Fellini’s gorgeous epic of decadence among the beautiful people of Rome in the postwar period.
While we know that these beautiful, shallow people leading their ’sweet lives’ are morally bankrupt, it’s impossible not to stare in wonder at them as they blaze across the screen like shooting stars. After so many years of war, strife and deprivation, they have chosen decadence as a lifestyle. And while we don’t recommend decadence and rampant indulgence as a great way to live your life, it’s a hell of a good way to spend a few hours. And if you choose to spend a few hours with us, we will give you a pretty good idea of what it’s like to be one of the beautiful people, eating only the best food and drinking only the best wine to fill the existential emptiness at the core of your being.
Chef John Bullington is a master of all Italian food styles from the rustic to the urbane and his menu traverses the boot to bring you some of his favorite delicacies. This five course feast will leave you stuffed but don’t forget to leave room for a very special dessert.
